Whether installing a new unit or replacing an existing control top, the ThinkTop® V55 from Alfa Laval automatically detects valve type and size, completing the Auto Setup sequence in less than a minute.
For even greater flexibility, operators can use Live Setup for remote configuration without disassembling the control unit—making the Alfa Laval ThinkTop® V55 a smart choice for systems that demand both convenience and performance.
How It Works
Alfa Laval’s ThinkTop® V55 simplifies diaphragm valve control with a single-sensor solution. Supporting 0 or 1 solenoid valves, it converts electrical PLC output signals into mechanical energy to energize or de-energize the air-operated valve, using the physical sensor target mounted on the valve stem.
The Auto Setup feature requires just a press of the “SELECT” and “ENTER” buttons to initiate the sequence. The unit automatically completes valve recognition and programming. Alternatively, use the Live Setup feature for remote setup—quickly and efficiently, without removing the control head.
