Standard Design Options
Nozzle diameters can be selected to optimize jet impact and flow rate at your required operating pressure. The TJ40G range includes two specialized configurations:
- Alfa Laval TJ40G-HD for applications where larger amounts of particles in the cleaning liquid are re-circulated over the machine. Its special design ensures that particles do not get trapped inside the machine or damage / block the machine during operation.
- Alfa Laval TJ40G Burst with a special burst nozzle design for fast chemical wetting of the tank. Burst cleaning reduces cleaning cycle time and the use of water and chemicals.
For applications requiring a smaller tank inlet opening, consider alternatives such as the Alfa Laval GJ 8 or Alfa Laval GJ 4.
Working Principle
The Alfa Laval TJ40G rotary jet head produces a high-impact jet stream that cleans the entire tank interior in a progressively denser pattern. The cleaning fluid causes the nozzles to rotate on both vertical and horizontal axes, creating a coarse cleaning pattern in the first cycle. With each successive cycle, the pattern becomes denser until full 360° coverage is achieved. Once the cycle completes, the system automatically restarts, ensuring continuous and thorough cleaning with minimal water and media usage.
